The challenge
The product question
A business platform serving multiple organizations needs to keep organization data and permissions separate while making inventory and reporting work manageable. The product direction also calls for useful recommendations based on stored business data.
The solution
Shape the application around the workflow
CodeRush IT is developing NeatStock as a multi-tenant SaaS application. The code includes organization context and access controls, inventory and reporting areas, billing-related work, and rule-based recommendation endpoints for stock and assortment decisions.
Our role
CodeRush IT is developing NeatStock's application architecture and business workflows, including tenant-aware access, inventory operations, reporting, and recommendation features.
Technical approach
How the application is structured
A PHP and Laravel backend works with a React interface. Organization context services, API routes, user and role logic, inventory workflows, reporting code, billing areas, and explicit rule-based recommendation services form the current application foundation.
Key technical challenges
What the implementation needed to address
- 01
Keep organization data and user permissions correctly scoped across workflows.
- 02
Connect inventory records and reporting to usable operational screens.
- 03
Derive recommendations from business data with explainable rules and thresholds.
Current status
Current foundation and direction
NeatStock remains in development. The current foundation covers tenant access, operations, reporting, and rule-based recommendations. A conversational AI agent described in the product direction remains planned and is not presented as a current capability.
